Mercat de l’Oli Nou turns Plaça Catalunya into a lively gastronomic fair where visitors can discover, taste, and buy the season’s first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oils. Featuring nearly 50 producers from the five Catalan DOPs, along with workshops, showcookings, and guided tastings, the event offers a unique culinary journey showcasing local oil quality and diversity.
With a dedicated food area, wine bars, and food trucks, there’s a festive atmosphere that strengthens the bond between producers and the city—highlighting olive oil as a cultural and healthy heritage, in line with Catalonia World Gastronomy Region 2025.
